What does the design & furnish process look like?

In the DISCOVERY phase, we get to know you.  We meet with your team to identify your project goals and implement a plan to achieve them.  We also analyze how your existing workspace is used and make recommendations based on your needs.  We analyze how a flexible work environment can be implemented to improve employee engagement, increase productivity, and optimize space.

PLANNING AND FURNITURE BUDGETING

In the PLANNING phase, we analyze your space.  We develop several plans that match your company needs and work with you until we have landed on a plan that best utilizes your space.  At this phase, we also establish the furniture budget.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

In the DESIGN DEVELOPMENT phase, we conceptualize and bring your space to life with imagery and renderings.  We also select all finishes, hardware, lighting, and fixtures related to your project, and furnishings. 

FURNITURE PROCUREMENT

In the FURNITURE PROCUREMENT phase, we prepare the furniture order and make final selections on all finish options.  We also review all manufacturer lead times to ensure the selected items arrive within the project schedule.

DOCUMENTATION

In the DOCUMENTATION and CONSTRUCTION DRAWING phase, we create the working drawings and specifications for all trades to work from.

MOVE AND INSTALL

In the INSTALL phase, we coordinate with all parties to successfully install your furniture package, as well as oversee the delivery of existing equipment moving from your old space.  Encore provides a full service design-to-delivery solution so you have one point of contact taking you to the finish line.
